So, the “Balance Transfer” service allows you to transfer unspoken minutes, SMS and unused Internet traffic to the next month. However, they can then be used until the end of the upcoming billing period if you pay the subscription fee in full.

The “Balance Transfer” service is free. It only works on the current tariffs “Black”, “Very Black”, “Blackest”, “Super Black” and is included in their basic package. It does not apply to archived TPs with identical names.

Only basic packages within the tariffs are transferred. Unfortunately, there is a large list of exceptions for regions where “Transfer of balances” does not work. You can see them in the “Other conditions” section of the official description of the service.

First, you will spend exactly the transferred minutes, SMS and traffic, then the service packages within the current subscription fee.

Personal opinion

The news is extremely positive. I repeat - extremely! The main thing is that the value of such “new, well-forgotten old” is correctly introduced into the brain cells of our subscribers. Unfortunately, most of them only stupidly understand the simple formula: “XXX minutes are included in the tariff,” from which an extremely primitive conclusion is drawn - whether this is a lot or a little.

Few people think about where the minutes go and how. Because of this sad fact, operators stopped not counting minutes within the network, giving in return a smaller package to other networks. It is their total number that works. Whether the formula for transferring minutes, SMS and GB will now work - time will tell. I hope it will.

Another thing, I look at the tariffs of Tele2 in the Moscow region. For example, “Very Black”: 500 minutes for 399 rubles. Expensive, I tell you. In our times, the price of such a package should be 200 rubles.

Please note that resources that were not used during the previous billing month will be used first. And only after they run out, the resources provided for by a specific tariff plan for the current month will become available.

Thus, you can gain access to the unused resources of the previous month only after the subscription fee for the next month has been paid in full (as you can see, you cannot use minutes, messages and Internet traffic calculated for one month for two months). it will work).

Another important feature is that resources not used by the subscriber will not accumulate. Only what was not used during the previous period is subject to transfer. And everything that was not used before will burn. Thus, by communicating less and using the Internet this month, you can, without overpaying, make up for it next month, but nothing more.

The mobile operator MTS plans in the future to launch a service for transferring the balance of unused traffic, SMS or conversation minutes to the next month, the MTS press service told Vslukh.ru, without specifying the terms and conditions for the implementation of the project.

Currently, MTS has package tariffs of the Smart line, offering up to 1600 SMS and minutes, Internet traffic from 1 GB to unlimited access per month.

Representatives of other Big Three operators - Beeline and Megafon - told Vslukh.ru that they do not plan to launch the transfer of balances in their package tariffs, since their tariffs meet the needs of subscribers.

Thus, Beeline offers subscribers package tariffs “All in one” (mobile communications, home Internet, TV) and “Everything” (up to 12 GB of traffic, 2 thousand minutes and 2 thousand SMS). Megafon operates a line of “All inclusive” tariffs (up to 2.5 thousand minutes, 12 GB and 2.5 thousand SMS).

At the moment, the service for transferring the balance of unused minutes, Internet traffic and SMS is valid only with the Tele2 operator (“Transfer of balances”) for package tariffs of the “Black” line.

Thus, the remaining traffic, minutes and SMS that were not used in the previous month are transferred to the next month and are spent first. “For example, a subscriber in January has 50 minutes, 10 SMS and 1 GB left Internet traffic. They are postponed to February, first of all, calls, surfing the web and SMS will be deducted from the remainder of the “old” package. If at the end of February the subscriber’s January balances have not been completely used up, and, accordingly, the February package is preserved, then the January balances are burned out, and the unused February package is transferred to March.

Transferring balances is convenient - unused minutes, SMS and gigabytes in one month will allow you to more actively use communications in the next month without additional costs,” explained the director of Tele2 in the Tyumen and Kurgan regions to Vslukh.ru Andrey Shmalev.

The service was officially launched on January 25th. “This is a revolutionary solution for the Russian market, since none of the telecom operators have done this before. According to our data, approximately 80% of clients do not use 80% of the minutes and SMS included in the packages. And almost all users of data packages do not use the volume of traffic that operators offer,” Deputy General Director for Product, Marketing and Federal Client Development told reporters in Moscow on January 25 Andrey Patoka.

Methods for connecting to the service

How to enable transfer of remaining traffic and minutes on Tele2? This becomes possible for Tele2 users by calling free short number 630, where the subscriber will be offered to switch and connect to a favorable tariff from the “Black” family with an active balance transfer service. It is worth noting that the service “transfer of balances” is absolutely free.

For those who are not yet connected to the Tele2 cellular operator, via online store you need to select the desired tariff package, or buy a SIM card at the salon yourself with active transfer of balances to Tele2 for the next month.

To view the balances on your package account, you can enter the following: USSD requests:

Tele2 subscribers should know that the remainder of the package will be transferred to the next month, provided that there are enough funds in the account to pay the subscription fee. That's when all unused minutes, messages and megabytes will roll over to the next month and be added to the new services. However, the added balances will be the first to be used up in the current month.

The service for transferring remaining traffic and minutes on Tele2 applies to the previous period, but everything further expires. For example, a subscriber used only 100 out of 300 minutes, and then in the subsequent period, out of the remaining 200, 100 remained again, then these hundred minutes will no longer be transferred.

Also note that if you purchase additional traffic, these balances will not be transferred.

Example of transferring minutes/sms:

1.3. in total, the subscriber has 350 + 250 = 600 minutes in the current month

1.4. in the current month, the subscriber will spend the entire package of 600 minutes, without dividing into old and new minutes

1.5. by the end of the current month, the subscriber spent only 50 minutes, i.e. remainder of the package of minutes – 550 minutes

1.6. Only 350 minutes will be transferred to the new (next) month

1.7. those. in the next (third) month the subscriber will have 350 + 350 = 700 minutes

Implementation of Internet packages: the balance is transferred to the next month, and the transferred balance cannot be greater than the main package and cannot be combined with the main package. When transferring the balance of the Internet to the next month, first the balance from the previous month is used up, then the main quota, and then auto-renewal is turned on. The remainder of the Internet from the previous month, which was transferred to the current month, is not transferred to the next.

Example of Internet traffic transfer:

1.1. The size of the Internet package included in the UP tariff is 10 GB

1.2. the subscriber had 9 GB left from last month and they were transferred to the new (current) month

1.3. in total, in the current month the subscriber has the current 10 GB and the old 9 GB

1.4. The old 9 GB will be used up first

1.5. by the end of the current month, the subscriber had spent only 2 GB, i.e. the remainder of the old Internet package is 7 GB and the current Internet package is 10 GB

1.6. The 10 GB remaining from the current Internet package will be transferred to the new month. Old 7 GB will not be transferred

1.7. those. in the next (third) month the subscriber will have 10 GB and 10 GB packages
