Vodafone FAMILY Plus: accessible communication for everyone

This tariff plan is created for people who do not need a lot of Internet and other additional services. Its target audience is older people aged 50 and above.

Vodafone Unlim 3G Plus: new popular service package

A tariff package worth 90 UAH (for 4 weeks) provides unlimited calls within the network, 1 hour 40 minutes to other phones, non lim Internet and calls abroad costing 1 UAH per minute.

To become a user of such a Vodafone service package, you must purchase a full starter package for a month or (if you are already a user of another tariff plan) pay the full price of the package.

As of 02/01/2018, Vodafone Ukraine has revised its tariff plans to increase their cost. Now the cost of the Unlim 3G Plus tariff plan is 90 UAH. for 28 days instead of the monthly fee of 75 UAH, which was previously.

To update the service, you need to restart the phone by turning it off and on sequentially. In this simple way, information about the popular tariff plan is updated.

Today at a press conference of MTS Ukraine, which now operates under the Vodafone brand, we were told about the tariffs that are planned to be introduced for Ukraine.

According to the General Director of MTS Ukraine Oleg Prozhyvalsky, tariffs should become more transparent and more affordable for subscribers. If until now on average you had to spend 60 UAH/month, now it’s 50. These tariffs will also be optimal for use abroad, in roaming. They should become the most prestigious.

As you can see, the official prices for the three packages Red S, Red M, Red L have not changed since their “unofficial” appearance on the Internet. Tariffs, indeed, look competitive and attractive for roaming. All packages will have unlimited time for calls within the MTS/Vodafone networks. There is also no limit on the number of free SMS and MMS within the network.

The operator allows you to use communications in Ukraine and 15 other European countries at home rates, as well as when calling to 62 countries around the world. The services also include unlimited incoming calls in the 15 most popular roaming countries in Europe - Poland, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Ireland, Great Britain, Greece, the Netherlands, Malta, Albania, Romania and Turkey.

You will not need to choose in which country to activate special prices. 3G traffic volumes will remain the same when traveling abroad. Social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Viber, WhatsApp) are also included in free megabytes of traffic, regardless of packages from 500 MB to 5 GB. Interestingly, understanding the complexity of situations abroad, the operator made calls to the support line free of charge.

The same services as in the home network will be available for 30 days after ordering the service in the 15 European countries where Vodafone has a presence.

It is possible to include tariffs for one day. After the end of monthly or daily packages, standard tariff conditions will apply:

Information for those who want to switch to the device tariff. There will be a lot of letters. I now have a device and every month my impressions of the company itself are more and more negative. So.. naturally, no one notifies you that the payment deadlines for the monthly package of services are approaching, so you must keep records yourself or set Reminders. every month the same situation. Since it is not always possible to keep track of the fact that the monthly package has ended, there are two options: either you always have zero in your account, or you will find out about the end of the monthly package when you have paid all the money (the tariff is unreasonably inflated IMHO). You top up your account and the connection occurs only from 00:00 to 08:00, that is, while you don’t need to call anywhere, and during the day you call and use the Internet at the same inflated rates. Then new adventures begin. if you top up your account even a few minutes before midnight, you will still find something to withdraw money for. The most primitive thing they refer to is data transfer even if wi-fi is turned on. They charge 15 UAH for it and at 00:00 these purchased megabytes are safely burned. Further, if your budget is limited and you topped up exactly the required amount of payment for the tariff, then naturally you will not have a service package connected since 15 UAH were charged for data transfer a couple of minutes before midnight and the same amount immediately after midnight, and then you top up your account again and wait for the period 00:00 - 08:00 to get into a vicious circle. Now I want to talk about the operating principles of the company itself. If you have been sitting on a relatively favorable tariff for a very long time, then be prepared for the fact that one fine day you may be sent a message that if you do not send a text to such and such a number, then you will automatically be transferred to the tariff that the company considers acceptable. So if you have very poor eyesight, problems with the phone screen and you are simply a pensioner and could not send the message, then no one will take you into account and they will transfer you. And now you no longer pay 45 but 75 (now 90 UAH) for the new tariff. Further.. everyone already knows about the disappearance of money from the account “invisibly directly”, I won’t reveal America to anyone here, but if earlier you could call and so to speak, win back money into the account, now if your money was embezzled and you have a positive balance (that is, not minus) they will not even accept an application for consideration of the problem. As the operator said, “In this situation, the problem is ours, but if you had a minus, we would have returned the money, but I’m sorry.” I encounter such situations with enviable regularity and, unfortunately, the bulk of my contacts are on this operator (regional peculiarities), otherwise I would not hesitate to change the operator. But everything has its limits.

Limitation:

    • The operator does not accept claims from subscribers for justified charges if the card was connected to the Internet in countries outside the coverage area, therefore, when using in the EU, but at the border or in the border zone with countries not from the list, select the operator manually.
    • The card has a monthly spending limit. You can only spend 50 euros per month, after which a limit on using the card is activated. The operator sends an SMS notification to the subscriber via SMS. To disable this restriction, you need to send a free SMS to 22127 with the text CONTINUAR and reboot the device.
    • All mobile operators always reserve the right to change the speed of access to the Internet, thereby limiting the use of traffic. This occurs in the following situations:
  1. If large files are downloaded excessively, which causes a deterioration in the quality of communication for other subscribers, because causes unacceptable load on the network;
  2. In case of illegal or fraudulent use of the Internet;
  3. Downloading torrent files via the mobile Internet is prohibited.

If you are a device user iPhone or iPad

Tariff features:

  • Packages can be reconnected if you do not have enough traffic or use the turbo button and connect 200 MB for 3 euros.
  • To activate the package via USSD command you need:
  1. Make sure that your number has enough balance to activate the package.
  2. Enter the command *525# and then select “Renueva MB, Min”.
  3. Receive SMS confirmation about package activation.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.

If the Internet package is not used up and the month has ended, but the subscriber continues to use the card, then the balance of unused traffic will be transferred to the next month. This way you can accumulate traffic for a maximum of 3 months and in total no more than 15 GB and 45 minutes are accumulated.

Vodafone SIM card validity period:

  • The SIM card is valid for 7 months. If you top up your balance in a timely manner by at least 5 €, the SIM card will be active constantly.
  • If you do not top up your balance within this time frame, the SIM card is removed from the operator’s database and cannot be restored, and the remaining balance is burned.
  • At the end of the trip:
    – If the card balance is less than the cost of the connected Internet package, then you can leave the card with the existing tariff.
    – If the card balance exceeds the cost of the connected Internet package, we recommend that you change your tariff plan to Vodafone Facil plan without a subscription fee.
