Train a universal remote control. How to reprogram the TV remote

The main demand for universal remote controls was as the best way to control all components of a home theater, concentrating all remote controls in one device. The most optimal models of remote controls can be purchased from 500 rubles, universal remote controls with rich functionality - from 2000 rubles. Some customers require control not of a specific device separately, but by pressing a button to send commands to various equipment, and for such demanding people there is a solution, but from 15,000 rubles. Now let's look at the most successful models of universal remote controls:

Model Description Price
Seki Slim The simplest universal remote control for controlling simple devices on a home network: a learning remote control with basic controls. Battery operated. 500 rubles
Seki Easy Plus The model is perfect for older people: a learning remote control with large buttons and simple controls. Battery operated. 900 rubles

Universal Seki remote controls: minimum functions

As a rule, control panels for even the simplest devices contain at least 15 different keys on the body, not to mention televisions, the remote controls of which have half a hundred buttons of various sizes. Pensioners or people with low vision cannot always cope with such devices and, of course, do not use all the functionality of modern TVs. For such users, we can recommend Seki universal remote controls. You can also use these remote controls as a replacement for existing remote controls of any other devices.

Seki remote control models

1 of 2

Seki offers two models of remote controls to choose from: Slim and Easy Plus.

Model Slim– an inexpensive remote control (price: 500 rubles) is a simplified alternative to the usual TV remote control for the ability to switch channels and adjust the volume. Plus, you can use this remote control at your discretion on other devices. Who needs a few more functions will come to the rescue Easy Plus model with large, easy-to-read keys (price: 800 rub.). Setting up the remote control is extremely simple: to program the remote control, just send a signal from the original remote control to the Seki device.

One for All Smart Motion Control: Remote control with motion sensor

One for All Smart Control– the most popular device among my clients as an alternative to expensive remote control models from Logitech. This universal remote control can control up to 6 devices; most home theater systems have no more than that in the system. Plus, the device is quite affordable - 2000 rubles.

There are three ways to configure the remote control:

  • quick programming (for equipment from companies such as Pioneer, Sony, etc.);
  • search method;
  • entering the code.

One of the main advantages of the remote control is gesture control. For example, a sharp movement of the remote control from the right to the center switches the TV channel in descending order, and from the left to the center - increasing. Tapping the side of the remote control twice with your finger will turn off the sound; if you repeat the action, the sound will be activated again.

Logitech: Premium Universal Remote Controls

The Harmony line remotes are designed to control home theaters. Modern home multimedia center systems include numerous devices: and, and, and, and other devices... Even if you have the simplest system, then 3-4 remote controls is the minimum. If you have devices from the same manufacturer, then you have the ability to control several devices at once from one remote control (but this feature has been around since the days of video cameras). In other cases, Harmony universal remote controls from Logitech come to the rescue, which can control your entire home multimedia center without much effort. It is worth noting that Logitech is constantly expanding its database of IR remote control commands, which includes more than 300,000 devices.

Logitech Harmony 350

The Logitech Harmony 350 universal remote control provides easy control of equipment and the ability to replace 8 remote controls at once. Control your TV, audio and video systems, cable and satellite TV, Blu-Ray player and many other devices with one remote control. Just press one button and you can turn on the Smart TV or IPTV set-top box in the desired mode with the necessary settings. You can easily control the video surveillance installed in your home and easily configure the remote control: just connect the Logitech Harmony 350 remote control to a computer with the Internet, and enter the model numbers and devices used in your home network.

Logitech Harmony Touch

Harmony Touch features a 2.4-inch color touchscreen display and backlit keys. The case has a USB port for connecting to a computer and loading settings using the “setup wizard”. The battery is recharged via the docking station. The remote control allows you to service up to 15 devices.

This remote control has such a feature as “action control”. Thanks to this feature, Harmony is able to execute multiple commands with the press of a single button. For example, the music activation function activates the AV receiver and turntable, and the TV can switch to the corresponding HDMI input. Logitech Harmony Touch is the most expensive model in our review – 15,000 rubles.

To facilitate the process of controlling gates and barriers, radio remote controls are used. Recently, they have become especially popular due to their compact size and ease of operation. This is why services such as programming gate remote controls for clones and duplicates are popular. This is necessary if you bought a new remote control or want to reconfigure the range of the old one.

It should be noted that independent settings for a new remote control are not always successful; for example, two channels are configured by mistake instead of one. This leads to the question: how to program the second gate key fob, clone, register and recode or flash the gate key fob?

How to reset the gate remote control and reset the settings?

You can call us by phone and our engineer will professionally advise you and offer his assistance.

Why is it beneficial to use a radio remote control?

  • this is convenient, especially for large areas with many fences;
  • saves time if a gate or barrier needs to be opened many times;
  • Compact design allows you to carry the item with you everywhere.

What types of radio remote controls are there?

Today there are two types:

  • Radio remote controls with one fixed code - it is quite simple to program, but not very safe with the risk of signal interception.
  • Remote control with multiple signals. The codes of such a key fob can be changed, this ensures security. Depending on the model, key fobs can support up to several million code combinations.
  • With "Jumping Code".
  • There are also gate cards.

Our service center carries out programming of key fobs of various models and configurations, as well as reprogramming gate keys and can remove the code from the gate key. We are also pleased to offer the universal Jolly Open model, which has no analogues. This remote transmitter can copy multiple original remotes with different codes, is reliable and easily adjusts to multiple channels. Jolly Open has a metal body and supports programs even if the battery is low. Also pay attention to the Apollo-C radio key fob, which is able to replace 4 automatic remote controls operating at different frequencies.

JollyOpen is compatible and can replace the following remote controls:

  • CAME: TOP 432, TOP 434, TAM 432, TWIN 2

FAAC Remote Controls TX2/4

Designed to control automation from FAAC or any other manufacturer when connecting an external FAAC receiver. A two-channel remote control (TX2) allows you to control two devices, a four-channel remote control (TX4) allows you to control four. They have the function of copying the code from one remote control to another - to add new ones to the system, there is no need to access the receiver. Each button can be programmed.

TX2/4 remote controls operate in two modes: Master and Slave. The Master remote control can be used to write its code into the radio receiver (minidec) of the control unit, as well as to transfer its code to other Master remote controls or Slaves.

In addition, in the Master remote control it is possible to replace your own code with a new one (generated automatically by the remote control).

The Slave remote control, unlike the Master, cannot be used to program other key fobs, to write its code into the radio receiver (minidec) of the control unit, and its code cannot be replaced without using the Master.

The FAAC DL2-868SLH key fob has been discontinued. Replacement: new key fobs FAAC XT4-868SLH. They differ only in design and improved characteristics.

Hand-held push-button transmitters (remotes) are available in two- and four-channel versions.

Unfortunately, programming remote controls (RC) for gates is not always carried out using uniform methods. The programming algorithm may vary and depends on the manufacturer. First you need to register the remote control on the receiver control board.

Many manufacturers use the code copying method. For example, to configure Faac And Nice requires recording one remote control to the receiver. The remaining remote controls are programmed by copying from the first key fob. Recording subsequent remotes may disable all others. This method is quite convenient, because... does not require constant recording of each gate control panel separately.

However, the safety of such a system is questionable. Let's imagine a situation where your gate control panel fell into the hands of another person for some time. An attacker will need no more than a minute to copy the signal to his own. You need to think about this first. Thus, it becomes clear that using such a system for organizations and companies is not the best idea. Signal copying will get out of control.

An alternative is systems GANT And . The essence of such systems is to record each remote control into the receiver using unique signals. But it is worth noting that such systems have limitations on the number of recorded devices. These systems are considered safer because... it is impossible to simply copy a signal. For enterprises this is the best option.

Don't forget to erase old data from the receiver before recording new remote controls. As a rule, deleting all recordings is done by holding the button on the receiver for 10-15 seconds.

Now let's look at programming in more detail.

  • To begin, press the “Learn” button on the drive control unit. After a second, the LED next to this inscription should light up;
  • Then, by pressing the button on the key fob, you will see the LED blink and go out.

Congratulations, you have saved the signal! If necessary, carry out the same procedure with the remaining remote controls. This chip can record up to 100 remote controls, however, its memory is limited. If you need to remove key fobs, you should hold down the “Learn” button for no more than 10 seconds.

Came

  • There is a “Prog” key on the control unit. Hold the key until the indicator flashes;
  • Next, press the key on the key fob. Restoring even light means successful recording.

Unlike the “Professional” system, subsequent key fobs are recorded in a different way. Let's make a copy.

  • We press two buttons on the new remote control. The LED will begin to blink;
  • Next, we should release the keys and press the one that we need to program;
  • After the LED signal, we bring the programmed key fob to the second one and press the operating key. The indicator should blink 4 times.

The Came gate remote control duplicate is ready.

To record other devices, repeat the action.

Faac

  • To record, you need to hold down the “P1” and “P2” keys. We release them only after the indicator on the key fob lights up.
  • Then the receiver board button is pressed until the LED signal appears.
  • While the indicator on the remote control is blinking, press the button that will control the gate leaves. After 3 seconds, release the buttons on the receiver and remote control.

Signal recorded!

The Faac system also uses copying, just like the previous Came system.

  • On the programmed key fob, press the “P1” and “P2” buttons.
  • After the LED signal, the buttons should be released.
  • Both key fobs are located opposite each other.
  • Next, you should hold down the button on the main key fob, from which the signal will be copied. After the code is saved, the indicator will blink 2 times.
  • For all other devices the operation will be repeated.

  • Hold the button on the receiver for 3 seconds. The “Led1” indicator will light up, i.e. recording has started.
  • The remote control button is also held for at least 3 seconds.
  • The rest are programmed in the same way.

Nice

Firm "Nice" works in 2 directions - key fobs with a dynamic code and with a permanent code. They differ in body color. Blue – constant, black – dynamic.

“Nice” with a permanent code are programmed using 2-range switches. They are present on both the key fob and the receiver. Such old-style devices are rarely seen these days. To prepare another key fob, the main, already programmed remote control, you need to unwind and set the switches to exactly the same position. This system involves copying, so let’s consider this procedure in more detail.

  • To get started, please note that both key fobs must be within the radius of the receiver;
  • Hold down the desired button new Remote control for 5 seconds;
  • Button main The remote control is pressed 3 times (short presses).

All. The signal is programmed.

To format the receiver memory, hold down the button until it blinks 3 times. After the third blink, the button should be released. If the LED blinks five times, then everything worked.

Universal gate remote control

Currently, you can buy a special universal programmable remote control, which can be adjusted to a maximum of 4 frequencies and is suitable for 4 different automatic gates (up-and-over or sliding). We think there is no need to explain why it is convenient. The cost of such devices is approximately 700 rubles.

Finally, watch the video instructions on programming a new remote control for Nice automatic sliding gates from the old one:

Turn on the device you will be controlling. Brand code search is only supported on older TVs, DVD players, VCRs and satellite receivers. It is not supported by stereo systems, digital video recorders, or high-definition televisions (for these devices, use the other method described in this article).

  • The brand code can be found in the documentation for the remote control or on this website.
  • Release both buttons.

    Enter the brand code using the numeric keypad on the remote. Keep the remote control pointed at the device while entering the code.

    • If the code is entered correctly, the power button will blink once and remain lit.
    • If the code is entered incorrectly, the power button will blink four times and then turn off. In this case, repeat the described process. Make sure you are entering the correct brand code and that your device supports it.
  • Press the power button. Each time you press the power button, the next code (from the list of brand codes) is sent to the device. The power button will blink. Continue pressing the power button until the device turns off. This means you have found the correct code.

    • If you have entered all the brand codes from the list, the Power button will blink four times and then turn off. In this case, use another method described in this article.
  • Press and release the Stop ■ button. This will store the code in the remote and assign it to the button corresponding to the device that is turned on (that is, the button you pressed previously). If you do not click the Stop ■ button, the code will not be saved and you will have to start the process again.

    Test the operation of the remote control by turning on the corresponding device and controlling it using the remote control. If you can't control most of your device's features, try another method described in this article.

    Searching for codes manually

    1. Turn on the device you will be controlling (TV, DVD/Bluray player, stereo system, etc.). The device must support the use of a remote control.

      • The number of functions controlled from the universal remote control depends on the device.
    2. Press and hold the button on the remote control that corresponds to the turned on device. For example, if you are programming a remote control to control a TV, hold down the “TV” button. If there is no button corresponding to the switched on device on the remote control, press the “AUX” button.

      • After a few moments, the power button will light up. Continue holding down the device button on the remote.
      • Keep the remote pointed at the device.
    3. Press and hold the power button while continuing to hold down the device button on the remote. The power button will turn off. Continue holding down both keys for three seconds. The power button will light up again.

      Release both buttons. The power button light should be lit. If this is not the case, repeat the steps described.

  • The TVIP programmable remote control can be used in conjunction with all models of TVIP set-top boxes.

    To program the buttons located in the “TV CONTROL” section, you must perform the following steps:

      Take original remote(for example, from your TV) in one hand, and TVIP remote control to another.

      Press TVIP remote control“SET” button and hold it down for two seconds until the red LED located under the power button begins to glow brighter. This means the remote control is ready to learn.

      Press and hold the button on TVIP remote control, which you are going to train. Red LED on TVIP remote control will start flashing.

      Place the infrared indicators of the two remote controls opposite each other at a distance of approximately 5 - 10 cm. Press and hold the button for two seconds original remote control, which you want to teach the TVIP remote control.

      Red LED on TVIP remote control blinks three times and stays on continuously. Then you can continue training another button.

      Repeat the learning process for all the buttons you need.

      Press the “SET” button on TVIP remote control To save and exit learning mode, the red LED must go out.

    Modification of a remote control with several code tables

    A remote control with several IR code tables is designated "MC" in the lower right corner of the logo.
    In some cases, the IR codes of TVIP media centers may match the codes of a TV or other equipment. In this case, you can switch the code table. A total of 3 code tables are supported. The first table with code “0” is similar to conventional TVIP remote controls.

    Please note that changing the code table is supported on TVIP media centers on Linux-Qt OS starting from version 4.0.13.

    To change the code table:

      Press the “Settings” (“gear”) and “Previous channel” (“two arrows”) buttons simultaneously. The remote control will switch to the next code table (3 in total).

      Point the remote control at the turned on media center, press the “S.INFO” button and hold it for 10 seconds. The media center will display a message indicating that the code table has changed.

    Modification of the remote control with Bluetooth technology

    Some TVIP media centers come with a remote control that supports both IR and Bluetooth. Such remote controls are designated "BT" in the lower right corner of the logo.
    If there is no connection with the media center via Bluetooth, the remote control operates in IR mode.

    Determining the remote control status:

      When you press the button once, the indicator flashes 1 time - the remote control is using a Bluetooth connection.

      When you press the button once, the indicator flashes several times - the remote control uses IR.

      The indicator flashes quickly - the remote control is establishing a Bluetooth connection.

    As a rule, the remote control establishes a Bluetooth connection with the media center automatically. If you need to manually bind/rebind the remote control, do the following:

      Press the button on the bottom of the media center with a thin, sharp object and hold it down for 10 seconds. The media center will go into search mode for a new BT remote control.

      Press and hold the INFO and EPG buttons on the remote control at the same time until the indicator starts flashing.

      Once the media center finds the remote, it will begin flashing quickly for a few seconds. After which the connection will be established.

    Please note that using a remote control with Bluetooth technology is recommended only with media centers that support this technology. The remote control will work with any TVIP media center in IR mode, however, the response to button presses may be worse, and the battery life will also be reduced.
